W illiam Mario Del Zotto. Born in 1901, he was an immigrant from Italy to the U.S. during the beginning of the European Arena of World War II. He worked as a brick layer in the coke ovens of US Steel in Duluth, MN. William Mario had one son, William John Del Zotto (born in 1942). He helped his son get started in the pre-cast concrete business, and continued to give him advice well into his retirement up to his death in 1984. D el Zotto Manufacturing, was started by that only son, William John Del Zotto (born in 1942). Bill started out making steps & step forms, then septic tanks & septic tank forms. From those early forms, Bill built really smart forms… by making them safe & easy to strip, pour & maintain. He invented and patented 100’s of pre-cast forms & equipment. Bill has 10 children. S on, William Mark Del Zotto (born in 1963), owns D el Zotto Products of MN & TX. Billy Jr., has 4 children. Billy Jr. has accomplished perfecting what was… inventing better and even more forms. Accomplishments such as wet-cast & dry-cast concrete mixing systems. He is currently building a Second (2nd) Texas Plant and in early 2000 built a state of the art facility in Northern Minnesota. S ons Philip (1989) & Mario Del Zotto (1994), are taking over the Florida and Freeport, Grand Bahama Plants. Both have been responsible for designing and perfecting the engineering and design of the RCP/Pipe Plant Machinery, Forms & Equipment.
